It's been two years since the last time.

The most fun we know is making something we haven't made before. New shapes, new color recipes,
A lot of it is not in the range. Not because we don't like it — we just didn't have time anymore. This Saturday it's here: tests, color samples, early production and samples made for restaurant orders.

HANDMADE

We have never promised that anything would be exactly the same. The material helps us keep our promise.
We could smash it and make new porcelain — we have the system for that. But the use value is the same, and we make things that will last. Then it makes little sense to smash something that works.

WHAT IS 2ND BLACK?

Everything from ment® goes through the same sorting process before it leaves the house. Most of it gets through. Some get a little note in the margin: a dot where no one asked for a dot, an edge that isn't thin enough, a surface with its own little imprint.
It's the 2nd variety. Same quality in use – dishwasher and everyday use-friendly like everything else. Just with a slightly clearer trace of being handmade.

We've collected a lot of good stuff. Tests, color samples and 2nd sorting. It's been a long time since the last time, and it'll be a long time until the next time
