The story of Omakase Hamar started in 2020 with the legendary Alex Cabiao as Head Sushi Chef.
The team at Omakase wanted something out of the ordinary when they were going to serve sushi at the tiny and luxurious restaurant in the attic of the Food Quarter in downtown Hamar. There was only room for 13 guests who were served over the counter at the sushi bar, directly from the sushi chef's trained hands. Raw experiences for seafood eccentrics and wine lovers. And the sushi – it was served on porcelain from Fåberg.
