The Norwegian catalogue is diverse and contains everything you need and want for your home, office and public meeting places. "Choose Norwegian Design" is a collaborative project between the Design Industry, an industry association in Norwegian Industry and the trade union Industri Energi, to increase awareness of and knowledge of the Norwegian design industry - and to excite more people to choose Norwegian.

Select Norwegian production
At Fåberg, we have built up a production facility where we mainly produce all our products in colored porcelain. This means that we mix color powder into the liquid porcelain before casting in plaster molds. You will notice slight color nuances and even some marbling in these products as all production is done manually. All our products are lead-free and all porcelain is dishwasher safe.
Select Norwegian production
At Fåberg, we have built up a production where we mainly produce all our products in dyed through porcelain. This means that we mix pigments into the liquid porcelain before we cast it in plaster molds. You will notice small shades of color and even some marbling in these products as all production takes place manually. All our products are lead-free and all porcelain can be washed in the dishwasher.

More than half of everything produced by Norwegian furniture, textiles and products is exported. Norway is in 42nd place in design exports in the world. We want to inspire more people here at home to also choose Norwegian.
With over 3700 companies across the country, the design industry is a large industry. The industry has just over 17500 direct employees. In addition, many are indirectly employed in the supplier industry. By supporting Norwegian design and production, you are also helping to maintain knowledge in important crafts.
